How to apply edible silver leaf 3×3 inch
Keep the booklet closed until you need a sheet. Lift the tissue, place the leaf face down on the sweet and press the tissue gently – the leaf releases on its own. Do not touch the silver with bare fingers or it will stick to your skin. Work away from fans and direct air, because a single sheet weighs almost nothing and will fly away.
Storage of edible silver leaf 3×3 inch

How many sweets will one sheet cover?
One 3×3 inch sheet covers roughly 4 to 6 pieces of kaju katli or barfi, or about 3 to 4 laddu, depending on how thick you apply it. A 100 sheet pack is usually a few days of production for a small sweet shop.
What is the difference between edible silver varak and imitation silver leaf?
Edible varak is real silver and food safe. Imitation silver leaf is an aluminium or alloy foil made only for craft, painting and decoration – it must never be used on food. We make both, and they are listed separately on this website so there is no confusion.
Does it have an expiry date?
No. Silver does not spoil. Kept flat, dry and away from sunlight, a booklet of edible silver leaf 3×3 inch stays good for years.
