These gold leaf sheets 4×6 inch come 20 to a pack, made in Jaipur for SUMERA WARQ®. At ₹119 a pack it works out to about ₹6 per sheet, and the larger 4×6 inch sheet covers far more area in one lift than a small square sheet does.
This is imitation gold leaf, not real gold. It is beaten extremely thin – thin enough that it dissolves if you rub it between your fingers – and it carries the same warm shine as real gold leaf, which is why painters and karigars use it for decorative work where real gold would be far too costly.

Why choose gold leaf sheets 4×6 inch
A bigger sheet means fewer joins. On a Tanjore painting border or a flat panel, one 4×6 inch sheet covers what would take two or three small square sheets, so the finish looks smoother and the work goes faster.
One pack of 20 sheets covers roughly 480 square inches (about 3.3 sq. ft.) of flat surface. Carved or uneven surfaces use more leaf, so keep a little extra in hand for touch-ups.

How to apply gold leaf sheets 4×6 inch
- Clean the surface and let it dry fully.
- Apply a thin, even coat of gold leafing adhesive (glue).
- Wait until the glue turns tacky – touch-dry but still sticky, usually 10–20 minutes.
- Lift one sheet with its tissue paper and lay it on the surface. Do not touch the leaf with bare fingers.
- Press gently with a soft brush or cotton, then brush away the loose bits.
- Seal with a PU top coat or clear varnish so the shine lasts.
Storing your gold leaf sheets
Keep your gold leaf sheets 4×6 inch in the sealed pouch, flat, away from fans, damp and direct sunlight. Imitation leaf can darken if left open to moist air for long, so close the zip after every use.
FAQ
Are these gold leaf sheets 4×6 inch real gold?
No. This is imitation gold leaf. It looks exactly like real gold leaf and carries the same shine, but it contains no gold. Our real 24K edible gold varkh is sold separately.
Can I eat this or put it on sweets?
No. This is for craft and decoration only. For mithai, paan and food decoration, use our FSSAI-licensed edible gold and silver varkh.
How thin is it?
Extremely thin – it will tear or dissolve if you rub it between your fingers. Always lift it with the tissue paper, never with bare hands.
Do I need glue?
Yes. Gold leaf needs a gilding adhesive to stick. We sell gold leafing glue in 100 ml and 1000 ml bottles.
Do you give a GST bill?
